20th anniversary:

In 2013, the Christian Bachschuster Foundation celebrated its 20th anniversary.

By then it had made grants worth over two million Swiss francs in Switzerland, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and South America.

In the anniversary year itself, the foundation is building a two- storey school building with eight classrooms for around 200 lower and middle graduated school students for 250,000 Swiss francs in cooperation with the Swiss diga foundation 'Helfen mit Herz' ↗ , which is very familiar with the local conditions in the Nepalese province of Koshidekha, Kavre.
It is also contributing 800,000 Swiss francs to a school sustainability project of the Swiss Pestalozzi Children's Home Foundation ↗ at six locations in the African Republic of Tanzania. The sub-projects work according to the principles of accessibility, acceptance, adaptability, availability.

You can find out more about these two projects in our 20th anniversary commemorative publication (German only).
